During her visit to the Center for Telematics, Dr. Hülya Düber informed herself about the current status of satellite production in Würzburg. During a tour of the research factory for small satellites, ZfT Director Prof. Dr. Klaus Schilling explained to her the growing importance of small satellite constellations for applications such as earth observation, telecommunications and quantum encryption.
This was followed by an exchange on the future of small satellite research in Lower Franconia. Dr. Düber was impressed, particularly by the transformation potential that this market offers for automotive suppliers in the region.
